New angle on curing depression
26 November 2001
An Oxford University neuroscientist has claimed that eating
fish may help cure depression and dyslexia.
Alexandra Richardson has said that large amounts of the essential fat Omega-3
are found in some fish, and says that lack of the fats can cause depression,
autism, dyslexia and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorders. Stress, alcohol,
nicotine and caffeine can decrease levels of fatty acids.
