Near death experiences “must be taken seriously”

Patients who have had a near death experience are often denigrated and disbelieved by nurses, and this can cause even more anxiety, according to researcher at Southampton University. Senior research fellow Sam Parnia says some patients begin to doubt their own sanity after being disbelieved by health professionals.
