Herbs May Help Fight Stress-Related Insomnia

The herbs kava and valerian may help people who are regularly kept awake at night. Research has shown that, when given individually, the herbs reduced stress levels and insomnia with only minor side effects. The research from Dr D Wheatley, founder of the London-based Psychopharmacology Research Group, is published in Phytotherapy Research. (Reuters 05/10/01)
