It gives you more than bad breath
(HealthScoutNews) --According to the University of California, Berkley, the whole garlic family -- including shallots, leeks, chives, and scallions -- contains allylic sulfides. These compounds can help prevent cancer and they are good for your heart.
But eat them raw. Cooked garlic may be less effective.
