Businesses “must look out for stress”
The recent Court of Appeal decision on employers’ liability for stress at
work is no reason for complacency, according to a senior employment lawyer.
Sarah Lamont, of Bevan Ashford, points out that employers must actively look
for possible cases, offer help, and invite staff to raise concerns, in order
to be able to defend subsequent legal actions.
